Heidi Klum Does Disney

Our favorite model mom, Heidi Klum and Seal (45)  were spotted with their kids enjoying a blissful day at Disneyland yesterday (September 2).

Klum and Seal to be having a marvelous time with Leni (4), Henry (3 on September 12), and Johan (1.5), enjoying both the Dumbo and Teacup rides together in Fantasyland.

Henry is pictured taking a break in the Maclaren Techno Stroller while Leni enjoys a bird’s eye view from Seal’s shoulders.

It looks like it was a hot day in Los Angeles as Klum is photographed spraying the hot-day-essential Disneyland fan/sprayer on the teacups.

Next month, Seal will be heading over to the UK for a performance at the Royal Albert Hall as part of the THISDAY Africa Rising Festival in London, England on October 14th.

THISDAY is set to revolutionise the way awareness is raised for African issues through the annual Thisday Festival. This year’s festival with the theme ‘Africa Rising’ will focus on finding “sustainable solutions” rather than the “problems” facing Africa.

Following the overwhelming success of the festival, now in its third year, Nigerian media mogul Nduka Obaigbena is taking his brain-child cross-continent with scheduled events in Abuja, July 11, Lagos, July 13, Washington DC, August 1, and London, October 14. The world-class festival is set to project positive images of Africa by showcasing the renaissance of Africa’s music, fashion and the arts.

Seal will join Christina Aguilera on the bill, who will be giving her first major concert performance since giving birth to her baby Max.

Africa Rising will also feature stunning catwalk shows from top African and international designers, including Chris Aire,  world famous jeweler to stars such as Halle Berry and Denzel Washington. Alongside Ozwald Boetang internationally acclaimed designer, famous for his bespoke suits worn by the likes of Will Smith, Lawrence Fishburne and Jamie Fox. These amazing collections will be modeled by the best in the business including Supermodels Naomi Campbell, Alek Wek, Tyson Beckford, Oluchi and Liya Kebede.

I just happened to pop on iTunes USA tonight and noticed that Jonas Brothers are holding the top song spot with their newest single Tonight.

Tonight was just released yesterday on July 29, 2008 and after just 24 hours, there are already well over 2,650 reviews. Wow!

Tonight will be on their upcoming LP called A Little Bit Longer set to drop on August 12, 2008.

Their other recently released single, Burnin’ Up is at number 5 on iTunes USA.  Pretty impressive.

Watch Burnin’ Up below.

Pretty catchy tunes. Personally, I think the video is a bit silly, but altogether entertaining and a perfect fit for their fans. Their teen fan base certainly loves them. What do YOU think of JB?

These young musicians are also on the upcoming August cover of Rolling Stone Magazine. RS has dubbed them “The Clean Teen Machine.”  Love the bit from the article that captures a few brief moments before JB hits the stage for a live concert in Phoenix.

Nick, 15, Joe, 18, and Kevin, 20 — are preparing to start their show. All three boys stand less than five-feet-ten, and each possesses a fantastic mane of dark-brown hair. Joe’s hair is ironed flat. Kevin used to flat-iron his, but now it’s curly again, and he’s got thick sideburns; Nick, the brothers’ chief songwriter and leader, has always kept the curls. Under Nick’s fitted brown linen suit is an insulin pump, adhered to his lower back. Nick was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in 2005 and must carefully monitor his blood-sugar levels; the band’s mammoth bodyguard, Big Rob, carries an insulin shot at all times in case of an emergency.

The backstage hallway quickly fills with members of the extended Jonas family. The group forms a circle and clasps hands. “Two quick things,” Kevin Sr. says. “We brought four people from the grass all the way to the front row tonight, so they’re pretty excited.” This is a Jonas norm — plucking die-hards from the nosebleeds and giving them the best seats in the house. Kevin Sr. tells the band to look out for a girl’s softball team that just had a 13-year-old teammate killed in an ATV accident. “They’re right at the end of the catwalk,” he says. “One of them is wearing the shirt the girl was going to wear tonight.”

Kevin Sr. dips his head in prayer. “Heavenly father, we just pray that you’ll bless us this time, let it be fun and safe and exciting,” he says. “Thank you for all the people that are here. We were at 60 percent just a week ago, and it looks full. Lord, we just pray that every person will be encouraged in Jesus’ name.”

The band members and crew holler. “Bring it in!” they shout. Hands are joined and raised to the ceiling.

“Livin’ the dream!” they yell.

They certainly are “livin’ the dream.”  The full article can be read online here.

Hot Young Hollywood

There is a new group of hot, young celebrities in Hollywood today.

Vanessa Hudgens, Zac Efron, The Jonas Brothers, Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus head the group.  All between the ages of 15 - 20, they have made a serious imprint in the hearts of our kids, but are also in the process of being accepted by the adults as well. Vanessa, Zac and JB are already there, featured in and on the covers of some major magazines - Rolling Stone, People, Details, Glamour, etc.

All have emerged on the scene in the past 3 years from the magna corporation DISNEY.

It won’t be difficult to keep an eye on these “IT” kids, hopefully we will still see them around in 10 years.
