Periwinklebloom is simple, inspired and beautiful.

It is all about making art using natural things such as their organic cotton fibers.  The idea of life recycled is apparent in their thoughtful and fresh design.

We love the reclaimed vintage bits of fabric, reminiscint of hand-me-downs.  The subdued hues - shades of cream and coffee -  roomy fit and lush textures echo the carefree nature of a child.

Homegrown and crafted in the USA.  Starting at $38 online.

Mmm Misha Lulu - Adorable!

Misha Lulu clothes are A-Dor-Able!

he Retro-modern infant and toddler brand is eclectic, fun and artsy! I love the pinafores and color/print matches.

ML is a family owned and operated fashion brand founded by Joe and Karen Salazar.  With roots in El Salvador, Karen has taken her childhood memories and fused it into the line. The couple live in South Pasadena with their daughter Isabela.

Unfortunately the clothing is only available in select stores on the West Coast, USA  and online.

My, my, how have I missed this rare little jewel of a company?

What a great mix of patterns, colors and style.  Unique, wearable and fun!
Designer Denise DeMarchis shares her vision for MJ. I want Matilda Jane clothing to make a little girl smile from ear to ear. I want her to love what she is wearing and be proud of how she looks. I want Matilda Jane clothing to showcase the sweetness of the child. I try to keep the silhouettes simple for that reason. It’s not about fancy embroidery or over-the-top embellishments. It’s all about the darling girl wearing it.”

Check out all the designs at the Matilda Jane website here.

The only flaw in the line is that you cannot order the pieces online.

Available only at trunk shows (hosted parties at home) or at select art shoes.

What a pity….maybe one day MJ will branch out to cyberspace.
