Zac Efron Covers Entertainment Weekly

Just days short of his 21st birthday, Zac Efron covers Entertainment Weekly’s Photo Issue in stores now.

In the candid interview Efron shares a glimpse into his quasi normal life in Hollywood, which he deems an adventure. “I’m always bobbing and weaving through alleyways trying to get to meetings, scouting out and looking outside doors and running around like Jason Bourne,” says Efron. ”I’ve always loved secret agent movies, whether it be James Bond or Bourne Identity. Now I’m kind of living it.”

Whether it is Bourne or Bond, Efron has the charisma, attitude and appeal that could keep him in the spotlight for years to come. ”He had an ease and a charm where even if he messed up, it turned out better than if he had done it right.” HSM director Kenny Ortega says of Efron. ”He reminded me of Cary Grant or when I worked with Matthew Broderick in Ferris Bueller.”

Efron openly admires the careers of Johnny Depp and Lionardo DiCaprio who successfully  made the leap from poster boy to Oscar contenders. ”They do it because they love it, not because they enjoy being famous. You have to have good foresight and be really careful. If you don’t adapt and learn at a very young age, you can really mess up.”

On the decision to film HSM3: ”This felt like a good final chapter of HSM for me,” Efron says of the film. ”The fans basically demanded we make it. So this was our opportunity to do everything to the best of our abilities on a big screen.”

On working with off-screen girlfriend, Vanessa Hudgens: ”After three movies together, Vanessa and I feel free to do whatever we want, and we’re just kind of silly and uninhibited,” he says. ”It felt like the best working vacation I’ve ever taken.”

Good Housekeeping Gosselins

Just when you feel like your Mommy day couldn’t get any worse, tune into Jon & Kate Plus 8 and realize that life as a mother is EASY. The Gosselin family take the November 2008 cover of Good Housekeeping.

The show on TLC revolves around Jon and Kate and their eight children—fraternal twin girls Mady and Kara and sextuplets (LeahHannah, Joel, Collin, Alexis and Aaden). The Monday, October 6th TV episode chronicled the fun and chaotic Good Housekeeping cover photo shoot.

A few quotes from Jon & Kate’s interview:

During the First Months with Eight Children
KATE: “There were days I just wanted to cover my head with a pillow. But I knew my babies were counting on me, and I had to keep it together. I had to keep it together for Jon, who was falling apart – he’d been laid off when I was pregnant and was applying for every job under the sun.”

The Strain on their Marriage

KATE: “But our marriage is going to go through many more years of fine-tuning. Right now it’s taking a beating, because we have a house full of children. People see us arguing, and they say ‘When will Kate and Jon split up?’ Well, never. He’s the only one who’s been by my side through all of this.”

Life Will Never Be Normal Again
KATE: “People come here and say, ‘I feel like I’m watching your show.’ That’s because this is our show. We will never feel normal again, TV show or not. Does anyone see a family with twins and sextuplets every day? No. It took me until the little kids were almost two to completely accept it.”

Parenting Eight Kids
KATE: “I’m trying to focus on the enjoyable moments, rather than keeping them clean every minute. You have to realize you’re setting the rules for life. With six, we have no room for error.”
KATE: “It’s hard to turn my brain off at night. When I choose Leah to take to the grocery store, and I don’t know when I can tell the rest of them when their chances will be, that’s guilt.”
KATE: “Mady will come in and close the toilet lid and sit there and talk to me while I’m in the shower. I like to hear what they have to say. For me, that’s more like normal parenting.”

When They’re All Grown Up
JON: “I suddenly realized that I’m going to have five son-in-laws.”
KATE: “I have very vivid dreams of our family in the future – a house full of love, laughter, and lots of grandkids to spoil. I’m already worried about that empty-nest syndrome. Just as they came in a big group and overwhelmed us, they will likely leave in a big group, and the quiet will be even more deafening.”

39-year-old Maid In Manhattan actress, Jennifer Lopez graces the September 2008 cover of ELLE Magazine and shares her views on some of the biggest and best in the fashion world.

On Georgina Chapman of Marchesa (pictured above): “She could be a model—but meanwhile she’s down there pinning and sewing all these things all over you!”

Love the tea and cupcakes, pleated fan gown with embroidered belt, by Marchesa of course.

Georgina Chapman says of Lopez, “She can transform into this stylish, aristrocratic beauty reminiscent of Sophia Coppola’s Marie Antoinette but at the same time is very down-to-earth and very relatable.”

On Donatella Versace (pictured above): “We’ve always had a very sweet relationship. I really got to know her more after her brother had died.”

“I wanted to glamorize a moment with two women sitting down and having a good, long chat, which is what happens in reality every time I see Jennifer.”—Donatella Versace

I love how everything  Versace eludes this sexy beauty.  One-shoulder rayon evening gown, by Versace.

Michael Kors (pictured above) shares that “Jennifer epitomizes my love of the modern jet-set woman–today’s answer to Elizabeth Taylor glamour, circa Butterfield 8, all dipped in tones of honey, caramel, and camel.”

The busy mom is married to Marc Anthony and has twins, a girl and a boy, Emme Marbiel Muñiz, and Maximilian “Max” David Muñiz who were born February 22, 2008.

She shares that she was not able get pregnant right away: “We knew nothing was wrong with either one of us—I had been checked, and he had kids already. I knew something’s not ready here, in my head or in my life, and when it is, I know it’s going to happen.”

On first realizing she was pregnant: “I was sitting down doing hair and makeup and I felt a flutter. The weirdest little…flourish. My makeup artist said ‘What’s the matter?’ I didn’t say anything, but in my head, I was like, I have life inside me!”

On her pregnancy: “We came off tour and I said ‘I did the superwoman thing, I finished the tour—now I need you to take care of me. I love doing things for you; if I’m not cooking, then I’m picking out a shirt. But this is the first time in my life where I’m just going to be a little bit selfish. I don’t know if I’m going to have kids again, so I want it to be a beautiful experience. I don’t want to have any drama. I want to just be smiling every day.’”

The Other Side of Kate Hudson

29-year-old Kate Hudson graces the cover of the September 2008 issue of W Magazine.

The beautiful single mother of Ryder Russell Robinson (4.5) shows a sleek, sinister and altogether sexy side.  A sharp dark contrast to the casual, hippie-chic Kate that we are used to that topped People’s Most Beautiful List.

In her W interview she shares:

On taking risks: “I have this personality—and there’s a downside to it too—but I have this thing where it’s like, okay, I’ve chosen to bungee jump off this ledge. I have to do it. And if the cord snaps, well, I might as well enjoy the ride down.”

On Ryder: “He’s super athletic. I just signed him up for tennis camp. He’s very good at riding a bike—no training wheels. And he’s skiing! I was at that age too, but not as good as he is.”

On being a young Mom: “Am I gonna look back and say, God, I wish I could have gone to that… that… concert? I’d rather be listening to my son sing songs. I’d rather be watching him sleep.”

On keeping in touch with ex-husband Chris Robinson: “I iChat with Chris constantly. No matter what is going on in my life, relationship-wise, Chris takes absolute precedence. It’s important for Ryder to hear me say how wonderful Chris is, and how much Chris misses him.”

On exposing details of her dating life: “It’s so hard for me, because I’m so open, to hold back. I could really just go on forever about this stuff. We can talk about Chris till the dogs come home. I married Chris, I had a baby with Chris, Chris will be in my life for the rest of my life. But everything else—I’ve learned that things are better left private until you’re actually planning the wedding.”

The Fools Gold actress graced the cover of People’s Most Beautiful list earlier this year.

She shares that she “was a tomboy growing up;  the girl with the dress on that always came back in the house filthy with scrapes and bruises. But [she] was always very girly [and] had to be able to twirl so that her underwear showed.”

Surprisingly, Kate also loves the way she looks “at the end of the night, when everything’s soaked in and I’m still up. I like the leftover makeup in the morning. You’ve got to wash your face but there’s always the leftover eye makeup, I love that.”

Very Interesting…
